Win2003 DC in Win2000 AD environment
Hi,
I have a network that Consists of Win2000 AD. I recently
added a Win2003 server with Exchange 2003.
I have found that I can't use RPC over HTTPS for the
Exchange server unless the Win2003 server is a DC.
Is it possible to promote the 2003 server to a DC in this
environment or will that cause too many issues for the
network.
The firm I work for does not want to upgrade the other
servers at this time as the expense is absolutly not in
the budget right now.
What are the pros and cons of this?
Thanks,
Vicky
