Default window size

What sets the default size of a newly opened window.
When I open a new browser window, it is half size
vertically and I can't figure out how to change the
default to a full screen. Thanks

Hi,
When the browser window opens, drag its edges as far as you want or to fully
occupy the screen and close it. Now, if you open the browser window again,
it will be in the new size you just set.

HTH.

Thanks! Sorry, guess I left something out. This is only
happening in IE when a link opens a new browser window.
A couple of weeks back I tiled two browser windows to
look at something side by side and it has been happening
ever since. Tried your suggestion but it didn't clear it
up.

Thanks

Default Window size

Hi,

I am irritated by the fact that Adobe Acrobat does not seem to
remember the size and position of its window. Does anyone have a
solution to fix that issue?

I am asking this since I work a lot with PDFLaTeX (MikTeX
distribution), and this involves viewing and reloading the document in
Acrobat on a regular basis. Now every time Acrobat is loaded, it
appears either in 'full window' mode or in a rather tiny window. Both
is unwarranted.

The command line is c:\program files\adobe\acrobat
6.0\acrobat\acrobat.exe "%s.pdf"

A search on Adobe's homepage and in this newsgroup didn't yield any
results (am I the only one being irritated at this? Strage...). Any
help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Philipp

open in a window of its own which I can do but my problem is that I do not know
how to make it open as a certain size has I do not need a full page just a
small window to explain the word.

If you can *explain* everything you need to in ~150 characters or less, then
just use the title attribute -

Here is some leading content, and here is a word that needs explaining.
