window sizing - Macromedia Dreamweaver

thanks for the tutorial... i'm still having problems. this is starting to drive me insane. ok, the tutorial tells you how to make a new window, however, it uses buttons. i don't want to use buttons, i want to use links. but i can't figure out how to do that. other than that, i got it to work. i also tried just combining the two things. i took the info from the tutorial, minus the button stuff, and i put that after the links i had made. this works, except 2 windows come up. so apparently it's reading it at ...

    thanks for the tutorial...
i'm still having problems. this is starting to drive me insane.
ok, the tutorial tells you how to make a new window, however, it uses buttons. i don't want to use buttons, i want to use links. but i can't figure out how to do that. other than that, i got it to work.

i also tried just combining the two things. i took the info from the tutorial, minus the button stuff, and i put that after the links i had made. this works, except 2 windows come up. so apparently it's reading it at 2 separate things. (ok, i really make no sense hehe...) so if you click on the link, one window comes up that's not sized the way i want it, and a second window comes up that is sized correctly.

so i figured, i need to get rid of the link that is opening the first new window. but (obviously) when i did that, it's just regular text that you can click on to get the correct new window. but the problem with that is that it doesn't look like a link and the cursor doesn't change to a little hand that indicates "click here"... it just looks like a cursor. so that's not really good for usability.
maybe i should just put what i have on the internet and someone can look at it and try to make sense of it....
let me know if this makes sense and you can help, or if i need to put everything on the internet. thanks!!!
