Re: Windows 2003 Server Client Setup
First, you should install Active Directory to promote the Windows Server
2003 machine to be a Domain Controller. Click "start" - "run", and input
"dcpromo". Follow the instructions on the wizard.
Secondly, open "Active Directory, users and Computers" in "Administrative
Tools" of the Windows Server 2003 computer. Add users and computer accounts.
You must add related computer accounts for each client computer that need to
log on to this domain, or the computer will not be able to log on.
Thirdly, on the client computer, right click "my computer" - "properties" -
"Computer name"- "Network ID", then follow the Network Identification Wizard
to let the client computer join the domain.
Then, you can use the domain user account to log on to domain on the client
computer.
