Windows Installer & Contribute 3.11

I installed Contribute 3.11 on my Windows 2000 machine today. Yes, my work
still makes us use Windows 2000, Office 2000, and IE6. After installing the
program, it now runs Windows Installer every time I try to open up any Office,
IE, or Explorer window. This runs for 3-5 minutes before finally opening up
the window. I have tried every fix on the forums, multiple uninstalls, Windows
Install Cleanup, reg edits deletions, multiple reboots, etc, etc, etc. The
support desk was of course no help. Does anyone else have any other idea on
how to get this off of my machine. I can no longer see Contribute or FlashPage
but I am still having the same problem. My work productivity was probably
negative today because of this ridiculous glitch.

Please help.
