    Make sure you went into CF administrator and enabled performance monitor in the debugging section. That should do it.

    unfortunately, that is where our problem began - this option is not available
    in the debugging section. We are running enterprise version with JRUN4 on
    windows 2003 and although one macromedia doc that I read states that this
    option is available on ver6.1 it appears that this is not actually the case.
    Any ideas about this? (and Thank You for your help so far)

    I'm having the exact same problem... there is no option to enable Performance
    Counters in the debugging section. I'm running MX6.1 Enterprise on Server2003
    with Updater 1 applied (along with all the additional HFs).

    In the debugging section there should be a option that says enable performance monitoring. That is what you have to enable
