Windows Service Pak 2 div layer alignment problem
Has anyone else noticed bugs with Windows Service Pak 2 distorting the vertical
alignment of objects placed in tables inside a div layer. I tried to align a
table on layer 1 with a table directly below it on layer 0, but even though the
tables contained exactly the same pixel dimensions, they would not line up
correctly when displayed in IE/Windows SP2. The file displays perfectly in
Windows/SP 1 and Netscape on the PC, and on all MAC browsers. IE/SP1 appearss
to condense the depth on layer 1 relative to layer 0, so that even though the
two tables share the same vertical number of pixels, they don't line up
visually.
To see what I'm talking about, create a simple table and fill 1 cell with a
background color (a cell height of about 5 pixels high gives you a nice sharp
line). Copy and paste the same table into a new layer directly above, and
aligned with, the first table. Upload and behold the difference.

Re: Windows Service Pak 2 div layer alignment problem
Correction on post: 4th sentence should start IE/SP2 appears to... not IE/SP1.

Re: Windows Service Pak 2 div layer alignment problem
Never mind this post ...turns out it was IE's minimum list/menu pixel depth (of 32) that was screwing things up.
