Windows wants to install Contribute
I no longer have Contribue 3 on my computer. When I use Windows Explorer and
right click on a file, or delete an item from my Desktop, or sometimes when I
launch a program such as Microsoft Word, a box pops up that says "Please wait
while Windows configures Macromedia Contribute 3". Then it asks for my CD. If I
click Cancel when the first message pops up, the message pops up 2 more times
and I have to keep canceling.
How can I fix this bug?
Operating System: Windows XP Professional SP2. Browser: Microsoft IE7.

Re: Windows wants to install Contribute
Thanks for the good information. I downloaded the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility. It let me remove Macromedia Contribute 3 from the install system and it seems to have fixed the problem.
