What kind of a system do you run, Win or Mac? And what OS? Doesn't the image show up somewhere on your hard drive? If so, I'd think you'd have to delete it from there, which I assume you've already tried; but your comment about it being in the file browser - of Elements? - is a touch confusing to me. (But maybe not everyone!)
