won't place points where I'm pointing!!

Hello all,

I'm having some trouble with the pen tool, when I place the cursor somewhere to place a point(anchor) and click, the point appears next to or around the general area where I clicked. this is driving me insane, I have to have this project done by tonight and i'm starting to sweat, any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you want to place the points at exact coordinates, you may just place them roughly and use Transform to get them right; this may be faster than getting each point exactly right in freehand, especially if you have to enlarge and move round on the artboard.

If you need to move around the artboard when you're zoomed in, just hold the space bar to use the hand tool, without dropping continuation from the last point you were working on.
