Word bookmarks don't work in PDF file

Dennis, I see a number of posted messages involving people having problems very similar or identical to yours. That is, they are having trouble correctly/properly converting MS Word boomarks and/or links to pdf (I posted a similar query in the forum just last week). I have two questions for you. Do you know if Adobe recommends a stardard procedure for creating links/bookmarks in Word that are converted correctly/properly to pdf? A few forum messages seem to imply that this issue of converting Word links and bookmarks gets addressed better in V6.0. Do you know if that is a fact? Thanks in advanced for any light you can shed on this for me.

Robert - afraid I can't help. v6.0 is the only version I've worked with and I'm a complete novice at that. With that said, I sure haven't been able to find anything in the Adobe Help files that gives me better direction on how to create bookmarks and hyperlinks in Word so that they work properly in PDF format.

Dennis, thanks for the reply. Well, so much for me thinking V6.0 was going to resolve all my problems converting Word links/bookmarks. The more I experiment with V5.0, it seems like my only solution at this point is to bundle all my documents together in Word and use hyperlinks that reference Word headings within the single huge document rather than reference Word bookmarks I've place in multiple documents. I'll keep checking the forum.
