Can you list the steps that cause you a sudden quit in FHMX with
paste-insides? I haven't experienced this, but I don't use clipping paths
extensively either.

I have to use the paste inside command a lot. As far as pinning down what actually causes the problem, I havent a clue. Boy, if I did everybody on this forum would sure hear me singing.
It just happens. You are zizzing along, click on a clipping path or just create a clipping path and BLAM! There you go. This has happened over and over again in FHMX but not in any previous version and if I export the offending document back to a previous version the problem goes away. Untill I create a new "offensive" clipping path.
I have sent a document example to MM and they said that it was a "partial file corruption". The trouble is that this corruption, for me, happens all the time but exclusively on paste insides and their clipping paths. I expect that if asked...I could womp up an example of this problem pretty quickly.
