Workaround for those having trouble getting smooth lines out of AICS when printing
[ disclaimer: I apologize if this has been discussed prior - didn't find it anywhere in all my searching... ]
For those having trouble getting smooth lines to print out of AICS (or Acrobat 6, in my case as well) - here's what I did.
'Print' the file as an Adobe PostScript file, embedding fonts, colorsync workflow info, etc.
Drag the .ps file onto Preview (as in the Apple application) - let it convert
Print from Preview - Ta Da! :)
I got perfect color output, smooth lines, etc - looks exactly like my borderless / bleed print (I'm doing a 8.5 x 5.5 card) that I printed from AICS, except no aliased line art!
YMMV...
[Done on a MDD 867 Dual with all the latest updates for OS X & AICS)
