write query in SQL Query yzer - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

In SQL Query yzer, if we write the query statement, we need to erase the previous statements first. otherwise, all the above statments will be executed again. It is very tudious, and anyone knows the workaround to the problem?? For example, here's the 3 different SQL statement, but if will insert the employee record for 3 times. insert into employee VALUES ('1000',20); select * from employee; select age from employee; Thanks, John...

Just highlight the SQL you want to execute and press F5.

If you have selected text in the editor, then only that selected text will
execute when you click "Run". So you can just highlight the statement you
want and just execute that without altering the rest of the editor contents.

In your example, I'm not sure what you mean about it inserting the employee
record 3 times. If all of that is typed into the query editor and you click
"run", then you should get one insert followed by 2 result sets from the 2
    SELECT statements.

Select the lines you want to execute, then hit the
Execute Query button. Only the selected lines will be
    executed.
