Writing a pdf from word using acrobat 4 vs 6 - re: Missing Graphics
I want to write a version 4 compatible pdf from word. The pdf will be viewed via an internet browser. If I use acrobat 4 no problems. If however I use acrobat 6.0.019 I can produce a version 4 pdf which can be viewed OK from a version 4 reader (not using a browser) - but when it is viewed from within a browser, using the 4 addin, there are many missing graphics??
I have tried tagged and non tagged pdfs but no joy.
So far only resolution is to use the older ver 4 acrobat.
Has anyone come across this? and do you have a solution?
There appears to be no correltaion as to what is missing - ie graphic is missing on page one - and exactly the same one is repeated and OK on page 2.
Cheers
Steve

Since you have a URL, you might want to share it for others to take a shot at trying to see the potential problems. Only a few may still have AA4 still installed and it would help to make thier job easier.
