WSRP and CF
Has anyone been successful at writing WSRP (Web Services for Remote Portlets)
compliant portlets in ColdFusion for integration with, say, uPortal? The OASIS
WSRP spec is pretty complex, so I am wondering/hoping that maybe someone has
written a wrapper/CFC for it similar to, in the Java world, WSRP4J
(http://ws.apache.org/wsrp4j/). I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who
is writing standards-compliant portlets in ColdFusion. We have several CF
applications here that we eventually would like to 'portletize'! Mark Cyzyk

Re: WSRP and CF
We are thinking about doing the same thing and deploying them in uPortal.... Have you had any other responses?

Re: WSRP and CF
Alex,
We are sort of working on our own, CF-based implementation of WSRP. Hopefully
when it's done and fully tested we could release it on the world at large.
Writing this has NOT been easy, and only a few of the interfaces in the spec
are working. It would be nice if Macromedia was doing some of this work and
maybe thinking about including it in a future version of CF (HINT HINT!!!!).
Best regards,
Mark
