X won't start
My 43p-240 had a bad CPU causing lockups. It's fixed, but the reboots
did something funny and X (and CDE/Dtlogin) won't run now.
/tmp/xlogfile reports a critical error that X can't open the default
font Ergo15.iso1
If I look in /usr/lib/X11/fonts/
Ergo15.iso1.pcf.Z is right there...
WHat else can I look for?
Help!

Re: X won't start
Ok, I figured out the problem. For some reason, X is looking for
Ergo15.iso1.pcf.Z in /usr/lib/X11/fonts/ibm850/ by default instead of
one directory bad.
Should the X server search all available dir's from /usr/lib/X11/fonts down?
I realize it's codepage is probably set to 850 (i'd like to see where
that's set)
but anyway - anyone with any thoughts on this?
