are complex, I would suggest that you open an incident with Microsoft
Product Support Services via
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;CNTACTMS, so that

When the problem occurs have you tried resetting the MSDTC log? Open
component services. right click on 'My computer', properties/MSDTC/reset log
Also please make suer you have installed the latest service pack (SP3) for
Sql server 7.
