xcode can't find movies.h - Mac Programming

Help! I'm porting an app from OS 9 to OS X. It references Movies.h but xCode is complaining the Movies.h doesn't exist. I have the quicktime framework included in the project and Movies.h even appears in the headers under the framework. If you double click on it, it opens fine. Yet, a build fails with the 'file not found' message on "Movies.h". I downloaded a sample project and it works fine! There must be some step I don't know about. Anyone? Thanks I.A. John elemans...

    Default xcode can't find movies.h

    Help!

    I'm porting an app from OS 9 to OS X.
    It references Movies.h but xCode is complaining
    the Movies.h doesn't exist. I have the quicktime framework
    included in the project and Movies.h even appears in
    the headers under the framework. If you double click on
    it, it opens fine. Yet, a build fails with the 'file not found'
    message on "Movies.h".

    I downloaded a sample project and it works fine! There
    must be some step I don't know about.

    Anyone? Thanks I.A.

    Try:

    #include <Movies.h>

    or

    #include <Quicktime/Movies.h>

    Find a C language reference and learn the difference between
    <library/whatever.h>, <whatever.h> and "whatever.h". :-)

    xCode creates MachO applications, which use Frameworks. You don't access
    the headers in a framework directly. Rather, you're expected to include
    the framework's "Umbrella header", which is usually named the same, e.g.

    #include <QuickTime/QuickTime.h>

    See the thread "Carbon and Mach-O" in this NG for more information and
    pitfalls in this regard.
