XCode Languages - Mac Programming

Hello all, Does anyone know if it's possible to extend the language support in XCode? I know that syntax highlighting can be added, but what about the function browser menu? I use XCode to do C++, Python, PHP, PL/SQL, and Ada and would love to be able to use the function browser for PHP, PL/SQL and Ada. Anyway, thanks in advance for you help. -- Adam Ruth The views expressed herein are not necessarily of any value to any person living or dead... coincidentally....

    Default XCode Languages

    Hello all,

Does anyone know if it's possible to extend the language support in
XCode? I know that syntax highlighting can be added, but what about
the function browser menu? I use XCode to do C++, Python, PHP, PL/SQL,
and Ada and would love to be able to use the function browser for PHP,
    PL/SQL and Ada.

Anyway, thanks in advance for you help.

You can use xCode to program in C++, but I think you need to select
    Carbon app to do that...

To code PHP download and use HyperEdit. In Panther it ps php in
realtime, no need to upload to a server or switch between programs to
    view output.

Thanks for the reply, but not exactly what I was looking for. I said
that I use XCode with these languages, not that I'm thinking of using
it. I use it for all of them because I like to use the same editor for
all the code I develop, and it is about the lesser of all evils with
all of them. HyperEdit, for example, is not somthing I'd use for C++
or Ada, whereas XCode is passable with PHP.

I just want to make it better and was wondering what options I have for
improving language support, besides syntax coloring, which I already
    know how to do.
