Xfree86 4.3 confusion - Debian

Hello, A couple of days ago I installed woody with the bf2.4 kernel on my new fujitsu lifebook. I went ahead and apt-get dist-upgraded to 'testing'. At some point I then installed xfree86 to run my beloved ion wm. I must have been able to pull 4.3, since the lifebook needs the 'radeon' driver which is only in 4.3 and was present. Default Xfree86 4.3 confusion

Hello,

A couple of days ago I installed woody with the bf2.4 kernel on my new fujitsu lifebook. I went ahead and apt-get dist-upgraded to 'testing'. At some point I then installed xfree86 to run my beloved ion wm. I must have been able to pull 4.3, since the lifebook needs the 'radeon' driver which is only in 4.3 and was present.
The problem however arose when I - for reasons of general idiocy - wanted to do a fresh install yesterday: only xfree86 4.2.x was available! I can't reconstruct my original apt sources exactly, but querying the on line package database doesn't give me any 4.3 what so ever.
Did 4.3 get recently pulled from the distribution? Why? Where can I get the packages?

Thanks, Joh

Here's where I pulled my copy from...

# Daniel Stone's unofficial XFree86 4.3 packages
deb http://penguinppc.org/~daniels/sid/i386 ./

AFAIK 4.3.0 has never made it into unstable as of yet, I have been using
the one from here:

deb http://people.debian.org/~mmagallo/packages/xfree86/i386/ ./

P.S could you please lower or turn on you're word wrap to around 70,
cheers.

Can you tell what are the differences in the debs, if there are any,
between this URL and the one that was previously mentioned
(http://penguinppc.org/~daniels/sid/i386)?

the former having 'sid' in it's URL, and the later having woody in each
filename, my _guess_ would be that the former is for sid (Debian
Unstable) and the later a backport for woody (Debian Stable).

HTH,
Shaun.
