    Default XML datasource definition J2EE?

Is there a way to define a datasource with XML?
My admin is not working on a linux (FC5) with Sun Appserver 9 but I am getting
    page translation.

... Cold Fusion without datasourses is like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
    without bread .... messy
