    For MX on a Windows multi-user configuration (such as Win2000 or XP), it's:

    C:\Doents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
    MX\Configuration\SiteCache

    Substitute the correct name for user_name. Also note that Application Data
    is a hidden folder, so you need to turn on the preference to show hidden
    files and folders.

    because I've (fingers crossed) never had the misfortune to lose my site
    definitions. I've now looked at my backup, and learned the error of my ways.
