Re: XP box loses network connnection
Exact same problem with a couple of XP boxes on a W2k AD network.
Haven't been able to figure it out yet and am tired of telling users
to reboot. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Re: XP box loses network connnection
I ran into a similar problem. Although I didn't get it fully resolved, it
appeared that it might relate to IP lease time (where DHCP is in use, no AD
however). Running ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew seemed to
reestablish a connection without rebooting. I would be interested in
knowing if you find the same.
(As a temporary message I put this in a batch file with a desktop shortcut
in one case, to at least spare the user the reboot while I dig into it
further.)
