XP Dev Runtime on Win in French ?

Hi group,

I'm using Office XP Developper (US version) in order to distrubute my
..mdb/.mde.
(my OS is Win XP pro english version)
My clients have Windows in French.

When using the packaging wizard, it ask the language of SetUp : French makes
no problem.
It ask a second time the language of the Access Runtime, when you say French
it ask for the CD OXP - French !!
(I do not intend to pay a second time about 1.000 $....)

I've seen all the kb from MS in US & in Europe and that's right.

Question is :
When I install my run times on french Win XP machines it works fine : my
runtime is in english and that's ok.
When I do the same installation on a (french) Win 98, an error message halt
all the process
"Language Dll not found, contact your administrator...."

Any idea how to work around ??
It must be possible to run an english runtime on any other Windows language
???

The solution is to install de SP1 for OffXP Dev.

The problem was that a XP run time cannot be installed on a Win 98 machine
....
