Xporting XML from Access Database - Adobe Indesign Windows

Hello, I'd like to export XML data from an Access database, where a field would specify the href attribute of an image file. Currently in ID, when you place an image, the element tag will have an "href" attribute that will point to the placed image, such as href=C:\Stuff\image.tif If I enter this string "href=C:\Stuff\image.tif" into a database field in access, export the database to XML and pull in the XML into ID, the field where the href was specified will be imported as an element. Default Xporting XML from Access Database

    Hello,

I'd like to export XML data from an Access database, where a field would specify the href attribute of an image file.

Currently in ID, when you place an image, the element tag will have an "href" attribute that will point to the placed image, such as href=C:\Stuff\image.tif

If I enter this string "href=C:\Stuff\image.tif" into a database field in access, export the database to XML and pull in the XML into ID, the field where the href was specified will be imported as an element. I need to have this imported as an attribute so ID can place the image automatically.

How can I specify (or make a distinction) in the database that a certain field should be outputted as an element, and another field should be an attribute? Is this possible?

    Thanks!

Can you concatenate the fields when you export them? Alternatively you
could do a search/replace of the XML file in a text editor to delete the end
of the element field and beginning of the attribute field so that they run
together. For example <logo><href="file://graphic.tif" />. Search and
    replace "<logo><" with "<logo "
