    Default Xubuntu, Kubuntu, and Ubuntu....

    Hello:
long time Linux user, but not yet used Ubuntu, which get great kudos.

I have to admit that creating (at least!) three different versions of
Ubuntu, seems quite confusing to me!

The other "distros", tends to have one version, now most often on DVD (or
multiple CD's) and the installer gives the choice (and.or) of the GUI:
    Gnome, KDE, XFCE, more...

Unless I am missing something... (I may!) why would not Unbuntu have only
one "distro" with install options: no GUI, or the one(s) the user whishes
    to have.

    Thanks for possible clarifications.

Ubuntu is ideal for people who currently run doze. If you say hey look 11
desktops they're confused already. With Ubuntu they get one, ideally Gnome
or KDE and that's it. Simple huh.

You didn't just insult me here, did you? I've been running Windows for
about 10 years, and don't have any problems with different window-
    managers. :-)
