Default XX - Q2) Quark vs InDesign - XX

    Hi again second question.

I am a low level designer who is now being forced to learn a design product that can do multiple pages - like quark.

I just found out today that inDesign is now being concidered as better than it.

I have just downloaded the 30 day demo and about to use but have some sub questons I need answered please.

    1) does ID work in basic like quark does it produce multiple page documents , brochures catalogues etc.

    2) I have been trying to learn quark last 2 days ( pulling my hair out so frusting) is ID easy to use like illustrator & photoshop is - as i LOVE those 2 products.

    3) If I just learn ID and not quark skills will I be hurting my skill set when I try looking for work from customers - will they demand I use quark instead of ID or they don't care as long as job gets done.

    4) Are there in huge draw back using ID over Quark.

NOTE : i can't think of any more question atm if you can think of something that I may need to know in making my decisions on these 2 products please volunteer info.

In basic, yes, there are some other ways ID works, but that only matters for
people that come from the quark world.

I you don't have the "But in Quark it works completely the other way"
problem, this should be easy to learn, But I advise to get yourself a book,
like the classroom in a book series or books of the other authors that are
around here like Olav and Sandee.

Normally customers don't care whether you use Freehand, Quark or InDesign...
    normally...

None that I can think of, it's the choice of future and the choice of the
best price for the best results.
