I have an external version control system for our corp site, this allows our
editors to be able to branch, tag, and collaborate very efficiently. However,
we would like to leverage the workflow/ auto publishing capabilities in
Contribute CS3. So we have our users developing their html pages locally,
previewing in Apache locally, then check into SVN and checkout to preview
server. IF satisfied, I want them to open contribute and choose "Publish file
from my computer" and for reasons beyond my comprehension, Contribute blarmps
out an error "You can't publish or send files that have these filename
extensions: .htm, .html, .xhmtl ..." IF I edit the existing file in an
external application, we use dreamweaver, and DW Templates, therefore I cannot
have them just copy and paste their code over the top of the old file's code,
because the templates won't let them. :disgust; I have fugged around with the
configuration files in the contribute install, but found no way to bypass that
file extension block. Please help. Thanks
