zero k file and renamed pdf

Hi folks

Since yesterday I have been getting a weird output from one of my files. I export to pdf and I get a 0k pdf file with the Preview type of icon, and another pdf with the filename truncated and things like this on the end #36A638.pdf !!!!
I can use this file but why is it happening? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Perhaps the file is in someway damaged.

Your filename has hit the 32 character limit (imposed by OS 9, which is in use still by many service bureaus/printers for processing PDFs for print -- hence the limit is still imposed by InDesign).
