Zip Drive 100 MB USB 1.1 compatibility - Mac Applications & Software

I'm getting very close to buying an eMac to replace my aging iMac but I need to get a fix on the total cost. I'm currently using an old USB 100 MB Zip Drive and was wondering if it's compatible with the new USB 1.1 ports....

It should be. I don't think any USB 1.0 devices are incompatible
    with 1.1.

Just one thing to keep in mind - if your Zip drive is powered by the
USB bus, you will have to either plug it directly into the computer
or into a powered hub. The unpowered hub in the Mac keyboard will
probably not be able to provide enough current for something like a
    Zip drive.
