Zoom reverts to prior page!
Is there some way around this? When I change to another page and then use the keyboard to zoom in, like command-2 for instance, it takes me back to the prior page. If I first click on the new page then it will stay there but I forget to do this. Any tricks?

Could you explain all the steps you are using to "change to another page."
I suspect that you're not really moving to the new page.

Re: Zoom reverts to prior page!
Yes. I use Shift-Page Up or Page Down. The page window shows that I am changing pages. The expected page appears on my screen. But when I use the zoom function it goes back to the page I left.

Re: Zoom reverts to prior page!
Did you have the text tool active and the cursor inserted into a frame?

Re: Zoom reverts to prior page!
Bob,
Text tool active and inserted into the frame of the page I am leaving. I am expecting ID to know that I have gone to a new page and once there to zoom that page rather then where the cursor was last. Is this too much to ask? After all, I may just want to look at a page for a moment not necessarily work with text.

Re: Zoom reverts to prior page!
The definition of cmd-2 is "Show the selected item at 200%", your selected item being the cursor in this case.
This is as it should be. I'd be quite irate if Adobe changed it.
You want to use cmd + instead of cmd 2

Re: Zoom reverts to prior page!
I see. I didn't know it worked that way. I thought of "selection" as different. I will try the other keyboard command.
Thanks,
Richard
