I stumbled into this video at CH which tells about some image editor that has a technology called “Image Retargeting.” I am not much of a designer but we really need this thing in our image editors. Such advanced image editing is however possible in Photoshop but this tool makes it lot more easier and faster.
The technology has been created by a guy called Ariel Shamir of the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science in Israel.

Whoa, that is pretty impressive.. I wonder how heavily it relies on computer power. It wouldn’t be feasible anytime soon if it did. Still, pretty amazing, wish Photoshop could erase people so easily!
