Remote Storage has become a common thing today. Many websites offer the facility of remote file hosting & access. But we are not going to review the most common. We are here to review & present the stuff which is not so common yet useful. Am I Right? (Yes, certainly!).
So, in the expedition of finding the most innovative & the not so common stuff, we found some places that allow us to remotely access our pc through internet from anywhere in the world. They literally brought my personal desktop onto a computer system which was situated 1000 miles away. They are called “Web Desktops”. These Web Desktops make it possible to have all of our information available wherever we go.

Amazon S3: It is a paid service by Amazon that provides top of the line online storage using the same storage infrastructure that Amazon uses for its In-House projects(like Amazon.com). It can be used to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web & the customer is charged on the basis of several factors such as: his location, storage space, data transfer etc.
Symantec pcAnywhere: It is another remote desktop service from the people which are said to be the Computer Security Experts i.e Symantec Corporation.

i like these softwares but will like to migrate my office local applications like peach tree acounting and some other java based and msql based application.. can this be done? and if it can be done can i get the name of the software.cos i wan various offices in differnt locations to access the same application and save their data online then the main admin can now download daily activities and also back up on a main server locally. thought access to various data can and must be restricted
