There are quite a few image editors you can use to manipulate images and we have also talked about some of them here at JustSkins. The computing surely is heading towards cloud and thus online applications have also mushroomed up to do photo editing.


Majority of these applications tend to do basic image editing and they are pretty good at it but if you want to do something as simple as image resizing then you might wanna try Resize Image which further simplifies the task.

If you are a blogger then you might have had instances where you had to resize images for a post. Photoshop is too complex for a menial task like this and Photoresize seems like an ideal tool to do. All you got to do is upload the image you want to resize and let it do its job. The image can be resized in small, medium and large sizes in the basic mode but you can also move to “Advanced Resizing” mode which offers slightly better functionality including cropping.

There is a built-in functionality in WordPress which lets you do the same thing without much fuss but this web service might turn out to be useful some time.

Photoresize might not be as bizarre as Photo Retargeting but it does manage to impress with its simplicity.
